Kwan holds a bachelor’s degree with honours in Language from Chulalongkorn University, the most leading university in Thailand. She was also awarded a government scholarship to study a master’s degree in Curriculum and Teaching Methodology in China.

Kwan has been working as a Thai language teacher and doing other related works such as linguistic and classroom-based researches in Thailand and abroad for 10 years so far.
